It seems to me it was a bit unrealistic, I think if Geass functioned in reality there would be a lot of things to happen like:

People not uniting to resolve their differences because Lelouch happened to menace the entire world. Keep in mind that the reign of Charles Zi Britannia was worse than Lelouch in allowing the genocide, discrimination, and conquest of the EU throughout the series. The EU war had actual consequences and casualties. Lelouch's war did not. Lelouch only united the world under his tyrannical rule, making people live in fear, but the enemy of the world has always been Britannia, not just Lelouch. There are probably centuries of bad blood between Britannia and the rest of the world, so despite Lelouch being the global tyrant, he only accomplished what his country sought after.
In my opinion, Britannia would've broken out with revolutions, revolts, and had a serious loss of territory after Lelouch's death, and the remaining Britannians would've been invaded by vengeful nations.

Cornelia would've been put on trials for war crimes and massacres in the Saitima Ghetto massacre when she was luring out Zero. Probably Gilford as well. Shame Euphemia's personality didn't affect her, no telling how genocidal she was in her war campaigns.
Schneizel would've or should've been killed for destroying Pendragon, the capital of Britannia, something Lelouch wouldn't dare do without a good (strategic) reason.
Suzaku, now dead, gone down in history as one who destroyed Tokyo, and Nina, one who developed the bomb that united the world in tyranny.

Realistically, Lelouch was more better on his reign and throne than he would be dead. His death, realistically, would've probably incided anarchy, chaos, civil war and more bloodshed for a few years, and Nunally would've spent her reign breaking up Britannia and dealing with inner turmoil before the world would've been peaceful.

What do you think , realistically, the ending of Geass entailed?

I think the way Lelouch fought the final battle and his policies prior to battle were really unrealistic. First, the important matter before Lelouch was to immediately defeat Schneizel and company. He should had a word with Kallen and take her into confidence. With Suzaku and Kallen as his lieutenants, he off course would have defeated anybody in his way. After defeating Schneizel he then could have turned his attention towards political matters and should given up conquered territories. And then he could have joined USF. In this way he could have become a popular leader.

But no, he went into the shitty business by harrasing the other countries when they tried to impose a condition for his joining of USF. In that way he lost everybody's support and was forced to fought the Schneizel+Black Knights+Chinese Federation alone.

And even afterall this, he still could have improved his attitude, release the prisoners etc..
So i would agree that the last two episodes the writer really did not show what a genius like Lelouch would have done.

Should these people not receive redress for violations of their rights as citizens?

Without government support, neither slavery nor Jim Crow segregation could have long endured. The government has apologized to all other groups to whom it has committed offenses, except Blacks. Yet, Black Americans have fought in EVERY war and borne the burden of every obligation this nation has had since 1619. Black Americans did not confiscate nearly two billion acres of land from Native Americans. However, for more than four centuries, Blacks paid taxes and their life blood so that Whites who did confiscate the land could develop and enjoy it. Money out of Black pockets supported a federal Indian bureau and state commissions that gave Indians benefits that Blacks never received. Blacks did not start WWII, but money from their pockets made up the $13 billion that rebuilt German under the Marshall Plan and Japan under the Point Four Plan. Blacks did not intern Japanese Americans in the 1940s but helped to pay 1 BILLION in reparations awarded to each descendant in 1992.Real racial equality for Blacks in America begins with an apology and acknowledgment from the government that millions of Blacks were wrongfully used and killed. Should not justice in the form of apology and reparations must naturally follow.
For example, in 1990 the United States paid $ 1.2 billion and issued a Letter of Apology to resolve the issue of internment of Japanese Americans who had been illegally detained during World War II for three years as a result of the Civil Rights Redress Act.
Furthermore, in 1986, the United States paid:

“$32 million to honor the 1836 treaty with the Ottawas of Michigan; in 1985, the United States gave $105 million to the Sioux of South Dakota; in 1980, the United States gave $81million to the Klamaths of Oregon; in 1971, the United States gave $1 billion plus 44 million acres of land to honor the Alaska Natives land settlement.”

In 1993, former President Bill Clinton signed the Hawaii Apology Resolution for the overthrow of Queen Liliuokalani:

Thank you. I initially started to say that four centuries blacks sacrificed and I forgot to edit it. Thus, my info was incorrectly joined together.

However, Blacks have paid taxes toward the system but were denied their rights for over a century after slavery obviously leading to tragedies such as the assassination of Martin Luther King and others in the late 60s who advocated for such rights.

Your post reminds me of a documentary I saw called Banished about black people who owned land after slavery, but who were terrorized by white people and run off of their property. Those white people then in turn illegally claimed the homes and land which are in prosperous areas today like Forsyth, GA.

You've made great points as it is government responsibility to issue restitution to their citizens if their rights have been violated.

The occurrences under Jim Crow definitely qualify as they were Human Rights violations. As far as your four centuries comment, I think I understand your point. However, I took that to mean that their labor contributed to the building of the nation when you made the "blood reference" = slavery and the paying of taxes under Jim Crow while their rights were violated?

I guess the two together would result in 4 centuries.

Based on your arguments, I agree that the United States should seek to pay restitution to those who are still alive.

People keep saying just cause Saudi didn`t have a mechanized army,the Saudis wouldn`t even last a single weeks fighting the Japs!
It won`t for the following reasons!
1)Allies would send equipment to the Saudis
2)Saudis will be doing suicide attacks
3)Japanese armies aren`t trained to move and fight in desert war fare!The Germans conquered North Africa because German troops in North Africa were well trained in desert warfare!Just because the desert is a flat plain doesn`t mean an army could easily march over it and send tanks and other vehicles over it!Besides alot of Jap troops would be suffering from the effects of the Desert!
5)The Saudis will resort to desert warfare.Just because you don`t have a mechanized army doesn`t mean you can`t fight!Research Lawrence of Arabia and Omar Kutthyb(Lion of the Desert) for proof!
6)The entire Muslim World will help the Saudis Defend Mecca and Medina!Other Muslim areas such as Turkey,Egypt,Palestine,and Iran have a military force that is equiped with artillery,mechanized vehicles,and bombs!The Japanese will face numerous nations with modernized weaponry!
7)The Saudis would fight more fanatical than any Japanese soldier because Saudi Arabia is the holy land of Islam!
8)Because they lack any experience in Middle Eastern warfare and because of their Bushido code,Japanese soldiers will contiinually be slaughtered by the same tactic the Arabs used to defeat the Crusaders:luring the enemy into the desert and letting them die of thirst!
9)If the Japanese conquere part of Saudi Arabia,the Japanese will do horrible things to Saudi civillians,thus enraging the Saudis and making them even more bloodthirsty for Japanese blood and long for the deaths of Japanese soldiers!
10)The Japanese army in Saudi Arabia will eventaully abandon the invasion because of far stretched logistics and because they will continually get slaughtered by both the Arabian desert and Arab soldiers who will use rifles and bombs to attack the Japanese,their armored vehicles such as their tank,and their supply routes!

So why do most people think Saudi Arabia will be conquered by the Japanese easily in WW2?The Japs have no knowledge of desert warfare!They will foolishly contiunally be lured into the desert by Arab raiders,and they will get lost and die of dehydration!Japanese tanks are completely uselees in desert warfare!And even if they manage to land a base,the Japanese Army will still face hell because the entire Muslim world will unite and send tanks,bombs,rifles,and other modernized war equipment to the Saudis along with properly trained Muslim troops!Why do most people say this?

The land that is now Saudi Arabia had no strategic to the Japanese during WW2, thus your question is purely hypotheical...
